Notes
The final page of this fragment. Whether it concludes the original work or was appended later remains uncertain.
The world is not static.
Nature shapes Sálmun. The gods shape Sálmun. Humanity shapes Sálmun. None do so completely. Each leaves an imprint.
Thus the world of Skaldenreach is never truly finished. Every generation adds another layer. Every culture leaves another echo. Every story has the possibility, however small, of becoming something more.
A Philosophical Observation
"What is a story if not oral magic practiced across generations?"
The earliest humans likely believed they were simply explaining the world to one another.
Instead, they may have been teaching the world how to dream.
